Home from a Mission Trip!

We just returned this evening from a wonderful mission week in Central America. We were blessed to minister the gospel through barrio evangelism, evangelism training, gospel presentations in 2 public schools (26 individual classrooms) a pastors' conference, a women's conference, and nightly revivals.

Yesterday we visited an (new to us) orphanage to see how we could help them on a regular basis in the future. Precious. Heartbreaking. Stirring.

"But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him" (1 John 3:17)?

(I hope to post more pics from our trip in the next day or two.)

Rebekah, I have been following your blog for a little while, not sure how I came across it( probably a yahoo group), but my son noticed the picture of your new son in China. It looks like he is on the same bridge as our daughter is on. She is in foster care in Tianjin and we are leaving on Sept 1st to go get her. You can email me at to let me know.
