Bake Sale Anyone?

It's fundraising time around here, and we are so excited about our Bake Sale for our sweet Hai Hai.

God is so awesome to give us the opportunity to sell homemade baked items at the Ahava Springs Bluegrass Gospel Festival this weekend, so we have been baking, baking, baking this week! All proceeds will be going directly to our adoption costs and will help us bring our son home to us.

The kids and I have made 180 chocolate suckers, 10 pans of brownies, 6 loaves of bread, 2 pans of rice krispie treats, 48 cupcakes, 20 + chocolate oatmeal cookies, 40 peanut butter balls, 6 dozen muffins, and one peanut butter cake. Whew. No wonder I'm so tired. :0)

In addition, we have precious friends and family who are also contributing with many baked goods to help us in this endeavor, and for them, I am incredibly thankful.

I'll let you know how it goes. . . . . . .;-)

Thanks for stopping by my blog! Yes we will have to keep checking each other's blogs as we could easily travel at the same time. We are realistically planning on January with the current LOA timelines. We just got back two months ago with our 7 year old son, our second son from China. Love boys!!!
